CANTOS FOR BRUCE

To say that Bruce Boston (1943-2024) was a giant of our times is an understatement.
His speculative writing spanned the entire second half of the twentieth century and first
quarter of the twenty-first across the fields of poetry, fiction and essays. A bibliography
of Bruce’s accomplishments is beyond impressive and is best described as simply awe-
inspiring to his fellow writers and readers alike.

In an homage to Bruce, we have put together a collection of poetry influenced by him in
some way, by some of his contemporaries.
