A crisp, wild, and imaginative survival romance

A book with zero fluff that immediately puts you in a compelling world in a high-stakes adventure. The characters are well-rendered, the dialogue is sharp, and the setting is bananas. The conflict and theme is such that an Oklahoma rough neck and a Vermont tree hugger could both appreciate this story.
